You are holding in your hands the first book containing an authentic biography of two greatest divinities of this country about which people are not well acquainted. It contains a unique account not found elsewhere about the actual meetings of BhaijeeÑShri Hanuman Prasad Poddar with Lord Vishnu in 1927 at Jasidih in front of several gentlemen and again in Gorakhpur. Second important event is the exclusive appearance of saint Narad and great sage Angira in front of Bhaijee in 1936. Conversation of Bhaijee with a Parsee ghost would certainly convince readers about the importance of Shraddh to be performed after oneÕs death. Bhaijee was not only a true saint and social reformer but was also involved in independence movement of India. Founder editor of famous ÔKalyanÕ, Bhaijee did herculean efforts to translate rare and ancient scriptures like Ramayana & Mahabharat from Sanskrit to Hindi and made them available to everyone at very nominal price. Bhaijee showed an evidence for a brightest identity of the sweet love towards Radha-Krishna and explored its feasibility to achieve it with an utmost simplicity through his discourses and texts. He did an extraordinary campaign for divine name and religious devotion (Bhakti) amidst general public. Inclusion of a short biography of another divinityÑSethji Shri Jaidayal Goyandka is another feature of this seminal book. The credit for establishment of Gita Press in Gorakhpur, Govind Bhawan in Kolkata, Gita Bhawan of Swargashram at Rishikesh and Rishikul Ashram in Churu including a unique, authentic and excellent commentary on Gita goes to him only.

By the time Timber Marlow is fifteen years old, she has already killed three men. Despite the bloody and violent nature of their deaths, Timber is hardly a murderer, at least not in the traditional sense of the word. She has lived her entire life as a cannibal within a cult tucked away in the San Bernardino Mountains called the Divinity of Feminine Reproach. She watches rituals where Divinity members are tied down and beheaded by their leader, Daddy Marlow. The Divinity keeps itself isolated from the Outside, which is the mainstream society beyond its invisible borders. When the opportunity presents itself, Timber escapes into the Outside, bearing witness to some dark and unsettling truths about the world around her and the integral role she plays in it. And no matter how long she stays away, Timber finds out the past isn't as far away as she thinks it is. In this debut novel, laced with scenes of horrific violence and uplifting humanity, Martin Lastrapes has written a one-of-a-kind story about love, friendship, sacrifice, and cannibalism.

A fresh interpretation of the final major sections of the Hebrew book of Ezekiel, chapters 38-48 Stephen L. Cook offers an accessible translation and interpretation of the final sections of Ezekiel. These chapters, the most challenging texts of scripture, describe the end-time assault of Gog of Magog on Israel and provide an incredible visionary tour of God's utopian temple. Following the approach of Moshe Greenberg, the author of the preceding Anchor Yale Bible commentaries on Ezekiel, this volume grounds interpretation of the book in an intimate acquaintance with Ezekiel's source materials, its particular patterns of composition and rhetoric, and the general learned, priestly workings of the Ezekiel school. The commentary honors Greenberg's legacy by including insights from traditional Jewish commentators, such as Rashi, Kimhi, and Eliezer of Beaugency. In contrast to preceding commentaries, the book devotes special attention to the Zadokite idea of an indwelling, anthropomorphic "body" of God, and the enlivening effect on people and land of that indwelling.

The Holy Bible - Urim-Thummim Version, Volume III is a new translation of the Holy Bible and the first ever published in the original manuscript order. This work represents over 30 years of studying and comparing Bible translations but uses a new approach to making the Bible both very readable and accurate to the original languages at the same time. The King James Version and Young’s Literal Translation have been employed as the “base text.” For many this version will retain much of the literary style of those time honored works but all archaic language has been replaced with modern English. More importantly however, this version endeavors to be extremely accurate to the Hebrew definitions that comprise the original text. As a result new discoveries and a greater detail to the Biblical story has now been obtained.

"REMEMBERING NGUYEN" is about my first trip to South Vietnam in the early 1960’s. And just in case you were not aware, Nguyen is pronounced as "When" in Vietnamese. I personally feel that this is a damned clever play on words. The book is a chronicle of events through out that 13 months tour of duty but it is different than most other books about the Vietnam experience. "REMEMBERING NGUYEN" looks at the country, the people and the strife through a more humorous eye, or so I fervently hope. So, If you are looking for a breathtaking story of heroism and hair raising adventures, then I fear you should look elsewhere. But if you would like to know what a rather naïve boy found that forced him into man hood and perhaps have a good laugh or two, then "REMEMBERING NGUYEN" is the book for you. Thanks and enjoy.
