Look the Other Way By: Michael Mohan Joshua and Patrick Foley Look the Other Way is a passion project between native Michigan screenwriters Michael Mohan Joshua and Patrick Foley over a three-month period in 2003. Over the years, Joshua has kept editing the story into what it is today, a snapshot of modern society. Daily news of sexual assault is prevalent throughout society. No longer can we as a global community look the other way. Through education and communication, citizens can change the norms of “bad behavior.”

How a country takes care of its elderly and poor is a testimony to their greatness as a country. In China the elderly are respected and placed on a pedestal as the wise members of the family. How we look at the elderly is quite different. They are an additional expenditure. They are a drain to our medical industry and services. After reading this book it is my intention that your perceptions be a little different than before you've read my book. Respect is a strong word. The generation before me has earned that respect and honor.

So, we are here. What happens once we die? Is there an afterlife? Is there eternity? Where is it? How is it? Do we really live for ever? Somehow, deep down, we know there is more and wonder what will happen to us after leaving this world. Based on the information Anny has collected from these spirits, she decided to shed light on what happens after we die. By making them talk about themselves, Anny learned the experience is not about bright lights, heaven, hell and the like. Transcripts of conversations with spirits do reveal what happens next. Join Anny as she shares fascinating real life stories from the ones who passed to the next plane.

Life in the Kingdom of Mavinor was lived according to "The Scrolls," until they were attacked by the army of a neighboring kingdom (Xamnon). Every copy of The Scrolls was destroyed in the war. Despite countless hours of labor, the task of reproducing them was far from complete, and their society was slowly unraveling. In order to try and save his people from falling into an age of darkness, King Onestus, whose health is failing, announces that he will assemble a group of thirteen men to undertake a prophesied quest. This quest, to return a sacred medallion to the kingdom, will decide his successor. "The Medallion of Mavinor" is the story of how thirteen very different men learn to work together; warriors, a scholar, a rich man, a fisherman, thrown together against nearly impossible odds. They face off against their world, magical creatures, and one another on an epic journey into the past, and the future of their world.

On The Forward Edge is an American Government text-novel. It teaches the basic principles of American Government through the medium of a novelistic account of young people working for change at the time of the civil rights movement of the 1960s. Clark Schooler, a recent college graduate, begins his newspaper career by reporting on the sit-in demonstrations of the early civil rights movement. He covers the efforts of college students to use direct-action and protests to force the racial integration of a movie theater in Baltimore. His editor then sends him to the all-white University of Mississippi to witness and write about the campus riot that takes place when a black student, James Meredith, attempts to attend the University. After covering the 1963 March on Washington, Clark is given a journalistic internship in the Capitol Hill office of United States Senator Thomas H. Kuchel of California. Senator Kuchel is one of the floor leaders for the civil rights bill that will eventually be enacted as the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In his capacity as a Senate aide, Clark observes first hand the inner workings of Congress, particularly the way in which senators supporting racial segregation are using the Senate filibuster to "talk to death" the civil rights bill. Clark works with Senator Kuchel to find 67 votes to "cloture" the civil rights bill and thereby end the filibuster. Clark meets Bonnie Kanecton, a young lawyer working for Senator Everett M. Dirksen of Illinois. Bonnie shows Clark how, through carefully crafted legislative compromises, Senator Dirksen is able to fashion a final version of the bill capable of winning 67 votes for cloture. But the battle is not over until the Supreme Court, in the late fall of 1964, upholds the constitutionality of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
