After conquering Zeus and thwarting Athena, Kratos believes himself to be finally free from his bondage. He sets sail for the desert in an attempt to distance himself from his home and his shame only to find his rage and guilt follow close behind. Many have tried to tell Bible stories as historical fiction. But I have attempted to tell the entire story of the universe, starting with the Bible and integrating history and chronology, legend, and ancient Talmudic tradition, along with a good deal of speculation. My story begins before time, and continues past the ages of time into eternity. It is an adult work, for some of mankind's descent into depravity cannot be sanitized. But it is also a fun work, as I bounce around from our perspective up to the heavenly realms and even down into hell itself. My purpose was not just to tell the story, but also to teach wisdom and to clarify the nature and character of God. I trust each reader will grow in relationship to the God of infinite love, as I have grown in the writing. Volume Two begins with the infinite eternal God before He became "Father God" and ends with the deaths of Moses and Ziporah on the mountains of Nebo and Pisgah.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is one of those authors whose literary creation is much more famous than the man himself. Those who do know the name Arthur Conan Doyle tend to know him only as the inventor of the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes. A smaller segment of this group goes further and remembers Doyle as the inventor of the great detective who squandered his fame with crackpot beliefs in faeries and the supernatural. Sadly, there is so much more to the man who revolutionized the writing not just of detective fiction but also of the genre of horror, the supernatural, and even influenced history itself. This two volume anthology's point is to put Doyle back on the pedestal he so rightly deserves. Its aim is twofold. First, to introduce readers to Doyle's lesser known (yet no less important) works. These works speak for themselves in showing a master writer at his craft. The stories are timeless, enjoyable, and hopefully will lead to new fans embracing a great author's somewhat forgotten tales. The second aim is to show the relevance of Doyle's works. Through a collection of articles written by current scholars and experts, readers can see just how revolutionary Doyle's writings remain even today.

A Commentary on the Book of Revelation - Volume 2 The author presents a detailed study of the Book of Revelation emphasizing prophetic themes from the rest of the Bible which find their fulfillment in Revelation. To understand this controversial book, the author explores the many connections between the visions seen by the Apostle John and previous prophetic revelation given to Old Testament prophets such as Daniel, Ezekiel, and others. It is the author's conviction that an understanding of related passages elsewhere in the Bible is the most important key to unlocking the bewildering variety of interpretations which often accompany the study of the last book of the Bible. The commentary can be used in conjunction with a free companion internet course providing an additional 70 hours of audio instruction linked to almost 1,000 slides.

Volume 2 of 4. Encompassing the whole milieu of early Islamic civilization, this major work of Western orientalism explores the meaning of the life and teaching of the tenth-century mystic and martyr, al-Hallaj. With profound spiritual insight and transcultural sympathy, Massignon, an Islamicist and scholar of religion, penetrates Islamic mysticism in a way that was previously unknown. Massignon traveled throughout the Middle East and western India to gather and authenticate al-Hallaj's surviving writings and the recorded facts. After assembling the extant verses and prose works of al-Hallaj and the accounts of his life and death, Massignon published La Passion d'al-Hallaj in 1922. At his death in 1962, he left behind a greatly expanded version, published as the second French edition (1975). It is edited and translated here from the French and the Arabic sources by Massignon's friend and pupil, Herbert Mason. Volume 1 gives an account of al-Hallaj's life and describes the wo rld in which he lives; volume 2 traces his influence in Islam over the centuries; volume 3 studies Hallajian thought; volume 4 contains a full biography and index. Each volume contains Massignon's copious notes and new translations of original Islamic documents. Herbert Mason is University Professor of Religion and Islamic History at Boston University. He is also apoet and novelist; his version of the Gigamesh epic was a nominee for the National Book Award in 1971. Bollingen Series XCVIII. Originally published in 1972. Romans 8:19 tells us, "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God." In this second volume of Exploring The Heavenly Realms Paul L. Cox and Rob Gross provide a Biblical framework for understanding the revelation of the sons of God. This revelation is directly tied to the church becoming mature as sons (and daughters) and being able to access the divine resources set aside for us in eternity past to fulfill the Great Commission. For centuries millions of believers have suffered as the unseen forces of wickedness in the heavenly realms have waged war against the church. In this book the authors will unpack the Biblical basis for the fallen sons of God and how these 'little gods' have infiltrated society and the family of God through covenant breaking sex, child sacrifice and star worship. This volume will also share insight about the spirit of Elijah and how this end time move of God will bring healing to the land by turning the hearts of the fathers back to the children and vice versa. As we transition from spiritual immaturity into maturity we will be able to discern between good and evil and joining what our Heavenly Father is doing. And like the Son of God who was able to join His Father's work we, the sons (and daughters) of God, will be able to do the same!
